Celine Chat : A French artist and surfer

Since many years, she is travelling all over the world in quest of good waves to surf, different cultures to find out and new persons to meet. 

All those discovery and experiences compose her inspiration.

From her long journey of several months, she came back with series of paintings, each time different which reflect her lifestyle as well as the country she was living in.

Her unique and creative artwork is exhibit in France, West Indies, Brazil, where she was invite, as the only European artist, at an International Surf Culture Festival in Sao Paulo and Rio and in United States where her artwork is exhibit in California all through summer 08 at the international surfing Museum of Huntington Beach.

Her next show will be in ANDERNOS les BAINS near Bordeaux in June 2009.

Depuis de nombreuses années, elle voyage autour du monde à la recherche de vagues à surfer, de nouvelles cultures à découvrir et de personnes à rencontrer.

Toutes ces découvertes et expériences composent son inspiration.

De ces longs séjours de plusieurs mois, elle recient avec une série de peintures chaque fois différentes qui reflètent autant son style de vie et le pays dans lequel elle a vécu.

Son travail unique et créatif est exposé en France, dans les Antilles, au Brésil où elle a été invité au Festival Alma Surf et aux Etats-Unis où une exposition lui a été consacré durant tout l'été 2008 à l'International Surfing Museum of Huntington Beach, CA.

Sa prochaine exposition sera à ANDERNOS les BAINS en Juin 2009.

1997: Graduated in Sciences.

1997-1998 : Trip in Philippines and Indonesia. Discover the practice of surfing.

1998-1999 : Trip in French Polynesia, Carribeans island and Mexico.

1999-2000 : Trip in Madagascar, Mauricius Island, Reunion island and Indoniesia.

2000-2001 :Trip in Western Australia and Indonesia..
